The Lime Rainbow Story

A colourful approach to human difference , positivity and growth

We’re a transdisciplinary team of practitioners who believe support should be built around the person - not the paperwork.

Founded to close the gap in accessible support

Lime Rainbow was founded by Eisha Brear, whose background across inclusive education and Behaviour Support gave her a unique view of what support looked like across the different parts of a person’s life.

Working alongside children, young people, families and schools, Eisha saw how difficult it could be to access consistent support – particularly when needs were complex, services were disconnected, or families lived in communities where the right support simply wasn’t easy to find.

Lime Rainbow grew from wanting to do something about that.

What began with strong foundations in Behaviour Support and inclusive education has grown into a multidisciplinary organisation supporting children, young people and adults across Western Sydney and beyond.

As Lime has grown, those foundations have stayed with us. We’re curious about what’s happening beneath the surface. We consider the person within their environment, not in isolation. And we value collaboration with the families, schools, practitioners, support teams and communities who know them well.

Our support spans Behaviour Support, Allied Health, Early Childhood Intervention, Individual Supports & Community Access, Specialised Respite and Social Programs, School Holiday Programs and Supported Independent Living.

Different services. Different ages and stages. But the same focus – understanding the person, working well with the people around them, and creating support that makes sense in everyday life.

Because the real test of good support isn’t whether it works in an appointment.

It’s whether it works on an ordinary Tuesday.

“Where zesty and spicy live” isn’t just a tagline – it’s a reminder that support should feel warm, human and a little bit fun, even on the hard days.

Why Lime Rainbow?

We didn’t pick a soft, safe name. We picked one with a bit of zest in it, because that’s who we’re here for.

Lime

Lime is zesty and full of personality. It’s different, distinctive, and honestly not necessarily everyone’s cup of tea – a little sharp, a little unexpected.

We chose it to stand for the people we work with: people who other providers have sometimes filed into the “too-hard basket” simply for being complex, intense or hard to fit into a standard program. We don’t see it that way. We see people with real personality, worth backing properly – not a problem to be managed.

Rainbow

Rainbow is inclusion, plainly. Every colour belongs in it – no single band of the spectrum matters more than the others.

For us that means different communities, different cultural backgrounds, different walks of life, all genuinely welcome – not as a diversity statement, but as how our team actually shows up: culturally responsive, curious, and ready to meet a family exactly as they are.

Put together, that’s the whole idea: a colourful, zesty approach to human difference – built for the people and families who deserve better than “too hard,” delivered by a team that welcomes every walk of life.

We start with the person, not the service.

Good support starts with understanding the person – who they are, what matters to them, how they communicate, what they enjoy, what helps them feel safe and what they want their life to look like.

We take the time to look beyond what we see on the surface and understand the bigger picture – the person, their environment, their experiences and the people around them.

We work collaboratively with families, support teams, schools, practitioners and other providers, bringing together different perspectives while keeping the individual at the centre.

Leadership shaped by experience

Our leadership team brings experience from across the disability, education and community sectors, with different skills, specialties and perspectives around the table.

We don’t all bring the same lens – and that’s the point. Our different perspectives shape the way we work: with curiosity, collaboration and a willingness to think differently.

We start with the person, not the service.

Four principles guide every plan we write and every visit we make.

Cultural Responsiveness
